The Chippewa Valley Line
$30The Milwaukee Road’s Chippewa Valley Line was built in 1882. The southern terminus was Wabasha, MN and the railroad crossed the Mississippi on a unique pontoon bridge. Towns served on the line included Durand, Red Cedar, Meridean, Caryville, Lufkin, Shawtown, Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Dunnville, Downsville, Irvington, Menomonie, and Cedar Falls, WI.
