The Viroqua Line

The Viroqua Line is a companion and successor to last year’s release of The Coon Valley Line, The History of the La Crosse and Southeastern Railroad. The Milwaukee Road purchased the La Crosse and Southeastern Railroad in 1933 and ran it as part of the Viroqua Line. A chapter about each town on the Viroqua Line gives its history, a railroad track plan in the town, and many pictures.
This book is co-authored by Brian Knudtson and Michael Hansen. It has 240 pages that include 39 color pictures, 357 black-and-white photos, 196 charts and diagrams, and 39 maps. Published in 2026 |
